Breath of the Ocean
●Description
To paint the ocean without form.
The movement of water,
the diffusion of light,
and the quiet rhythm of breathing.
This work expresses the sensation of being underwater—
not what is seen,
but what is felt.
The stillness that arrives when you dive deep,
the sense of being held and filled.
It feels as if
the ocean itself is breathing.
Through layers of acrylic and resin,
depth and fluidity are created,
capturing something that cannot be defined by shape.
This piece is part of an ongoing series,
each carrying a different “breath” of the ocean.
It is meant to resonate
with the viewer’s own memory and sensation,
expanding quietly within.
