それは、本来この場所にあるはずのない存在。
海岸に打ち上げられたゴミの多くは、海外から流れ着いたもの。
一方で海中には、ダイバーや釣り人によって残された痕跡が見受けられました。
遠くから来たものと、すぐそばで生まれたもの。
その両方が、同じ景色の中に存在しています。
この作品では、月桃紙と琉球藍墨を用い、
自然の素材と人工物の対比を通して、
その現実を静かに浮かび上がらせています。
これは、誰かの問題ではなく、
私たち一人ひとりの選択の積み重ねの先にある風景。
目を背けるのではなく、
ほんの少しだけ立ち止まり、考えるきっかけとなることを願っています。

●Description
In the beauty of Okinawa’s ocean,
there are things that quietly arrive—
things that were never meant to be here.
Much of the debris found along the shore
has traveled from distant countries.
Meanwhile, beneath the surface,
traces left by divers and fishermen can be seen.
What comes from afar,
and what is left nearby—
both exist within the same ocean,
within the same landscape.
Using gettou paper and Ryukyu indigo ink,
this work contrasts natural materials with artificial traces,
revealing a quiet but undeniable reality.
This is not someone else’s problem.
It is a reflection of our collective choices.
Rather than turning away,
this piece invites a moment of pause—
to reflect, even briefly, on our connection to the ocean.
