浜比嘉島。
穏やかな海と、ゆっくりと流れる時間。
この場所で過ごした日々が、
今の自分の原点になっています。
はじめて働いた場所でもあり、
海と向き合い、自然と共にある時間を知った場所。
後に、この島が“パワースポット”として知られていることを知りました。
けれど私にとっては、
その言葉よりもずっと前から、
確かに何かを感じていた場所です。
この作品では、アクリルと樹脂を重ねることで、
光を受けて揺れる海と、
静かに満ちている空気感を表現しました。
目に見える景色だけではなく、
その場に流れる“気配”まで感じていただけたら嬉しいです。

Hamahiga Island
●Description
A place where everything began.
Hamahiga Island.
With its calm sea and slow passage of time,
this place became the foundation of who I am today.
It was where I first worked,
where I began to understand the ocean,
and what it means to live alongside nature.
Only later did I learn
that the island is known as a spiritual place.
But for me,
that sense was always there—
long before I had words for it.
Through layers of acrylic and resin,
this work captures the gentle light of the sea
and the quiet presence that fills the space.
Not only the visible landscape,
but the feeling that exists within it.
