A presence that emerges from stillness.
In the waters of Shimozune, within the Kerama Islands,
manta rays appear with a sense of quiet power—
not only beautiful, but almost sacred.
Their slow, graceful movement
holds both strength and silence,
commanding the space around them.
This work is one of ERINA’s early signature pieces.
It has remained in the memory of many viewers
and continues to be widely appreciated.
Through layers of acrylic and resin,
light and depth are brought into the surface,
allowing the presence to settle within the space.
A piece that reveals new impressions over time,
deepening with each encounter.
